Notes:

• The Big 12 is set to host the 2024 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas. Whispering Pines isapproximately 88 miles north of Houston, situated on a spectacular 400-acre property featuring piney woods, creeks, lakes, natural dunes, and abundant wildlife.
• Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, Golfweek, and Links Magazine currently rank Whispering Pines among the "Top 100 Golf Courses in America," and was recently ranked theNo. 1 Golf Course in Texas byTheDallas Morning News.
• The 2024 tournament will be the eighth time the Big 12 hosted its championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club (2005, '08, '10, '12, '14, '16, '22).
• The event will serve as the 27th edition of the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship; Texas Tech's best finish at the event is second place, claimed in back-to-back seasons in 2014 and 2015.
• While having not won the Big 12 team title before, the Red Raiders have consistently been at the top of the leaderboard earning seven Top-3 finishes in their last 15 appearances.
• Texas Tech has had an individual win at the Big 12 Championship three times; Ludvig Aberg won it back-to-back years over the last two seasons (2022, 2023) after the first winner of the individual title Chris Ward in 2010.
• The Big 12 Championship is setup differently than most regular season tournaments as it plays as a 72-hole tournament, similar to most PGA events. The 72-hole event is scheduled for 36 holes on Monday while Tuesday and Wednesday will play each as 18-hole days.
• Texas Tech enters the Big 12 Championship as the No. 1 seed. Seeding is based on teams' rankings in the national poll as announced by Scoreboard powered by Clippd. This year's championship tournament features three Top 25 teams as No. 14 Oklahoma and No. 17 Texas join the Red Raiders at the top.
• Matthew Comegys, Calum Scott and Tyran Snyderseach represented Texas Tech atlast year's Big 12 Championship. Scott finished T-12 (72-72-71-73=288, +8),Snyders finished T-19 (73-70-73-74=290, +10) while Comegys finished 42nd (81-76-72-76=305, +25).
• Calum Scott enters the Big 12 Championship as the Red Raiders' scoring average leader, owning a 70.6 average in 30 stroke play rounds over 10 events. Scott and Tyran Snyders share the team lead for the most rounds carded in the 60s with 12 this season. Scott, Snyders and Matthew Comegys share the team lead for most Top 20 finishes this season with six.
